Exciting news – SAORI WEAVING IS NOW AVAILABLE IN MELBOURNE!
Dyeing To Weave SAORI Studio is now also located in Brunswick East in Inner Melbourne. This beautiful, intimate studio space on Nicholson Street, called Kokoro: Creative Zen, is dedicated to Japanese crafts and culture and is the new home for a host of workshops. Our official opening was in Jan-Feb 2020…and then Covid hit and forced us to close the doors.
Now Kokoro: Creative Zen has finally reopened! It is so lovely to be back in the space. Workshops have started in SAORI weaving and new classes in Sashiko stitching, Boro mending, Temari ball making, Origami earrings, Ikebana and other Japanese crafts will be coming again soon!
