Studio

Dyeing To Weave is located at White Stone Farm in Clunes, Central Victoria.  Set amongst majestic River Red Gums on 10 acres and surrounded by the picturesque landscape of the ancient volcanic plains of the Central Highlands, White Stone Farm is a place of Sustainability, Holistic Living and Education.

Recently relocated back to White Stone Farm after a wonderful stint in the main street of Clunes, the Dyeing To Weave studio is the perfect place to discover SAORI weaving, meet the charismatic llamas and learn more about sustainable clothing, natural fibres and eco-friendly earth dyes.

Workshops in SAORI weaving, natural dye, indigo dye, spinning, fibre preparation, llama care and a range of sustainability topics are regularly taught at the studio and farm.

Why not make a weekend of it and explore the gorgeous township of Clunes and surrounds? In the charming historical town of Clunes, you can step back in time to the 1870’s and immerse yourself in the goldrush history of the region.  Enjoy a bite to eat or coffee at the local cafe’s, a delicious pastry from the bakery or wine and tapas from the wine bar. Wander the historical streets for a book bargain or a treasure in the gift shops and antique stores.

Then, journey to the farm (just 5 kms from town) to learn the time-honoured crafts of weaving, spinning and felting at the studio and enjoy the relaxed, social environment of a studio session.

Enjoy a weekend in the gorgeous Central Victorian landscape whilst you gather knowledge and skills in these practical crafts.
